It was still clear in the morning. The glare of the sun lay on the caps of snow, nestled comfortably on the tops of the rocks.
Only somewhere in the distance beyond the mountains were dark clouds. Toward noon, they grew to enormous sizes and covered the entire sky.
And it began to snow. Not only did he go, but he fell. It was as if someone up there decided to pour out all the unused reserves of snow over the past winter at one time.
Sky, mountains, earth merged into one. Became gray with dashes of white, dark gray. And it became completely impossible to make out where the trees are, where the mountains are, where the sky is.
The snow was wet, heavy and quickly flew to the ground.
It covered all surfaces.
And muffled all sounds.
