In Scandinavia, this sun-like flower was a symbol of the goddess Freya, responsible for love, motherhood and fertility.
In Roman mythology, there is a tale about a certain god who fell in love with a nymph. But she did not reciprocate. And in order not to offend the lover, the nymph turned into a field of daisies. A very beautiful myth! Or maybe not a myth!?
In Western culture, daisies mean simplicity, chastity and transformation or rebirth. Translated from one of the ancient European languages, the name is translated as "day eye", because the snow-white petals open only during the day, under direct sunlight.
In Slavic traditions, chamomile is revered for its healing properties. The flower is considered a symbol of health.
According to Feng Shui, the yellow core of the flower symbolizes vital energy and strength, and the white petals - purification, healing.
Chamomile has many meanings. But they are all connected with the sun, joy, summer, youth and purity.
In the language of flowers, chamomile means mutual sympathy.
According to Feng Shui, positive energy is brought to the house not only by fresh flowers, but also by their image. It can be placed in any room.
And, undoubtedly, it will bring joy and harmony to your home.

Acrylic on cardboard. For hanging on the wall, I recommend a frame with a passe-partout (the internal size of the passe-partout is no more than 19*29 cm).
In my studio, the work hangs framed in a passe-partout (19*29 cm) and a wooden frame (34*44 cm). See the photo in the gallery.
